Jason Trudgeon

Jason has been part of Orchard Grove for 11 years and has served as a high school youth leader for the past 7 years. Truly known as "Unc!," he enjoys working with high school students and witnessing their spiritual growth and self-discovery. He finds great joy in engaging deeply during small group discussions, helping students open up and connect with the Bible and its relevance in today's world.

In his free time, Jason loves fishing and spending time up north with family and friends. He discovered his relationship with God and developed a faith of his own understanding after getting sober 11 years ago, which coincided with his introduction to Orchard Grove. He was baptized in Haiti during a mission trip with the high school group and has never looked back since. Working with the youth continually reminds him that God has a purpose for him, inspiring him to spread the good news!

Julio c. Tiller

Julio has been a part of Orchard Grove for 11 years, starting his journey at 17 in the Youth Group’s Locker Room location. From the very beginning, he felt a deep connection to the community, largely due to its emphasis on authenticity. Today, he volunteers his time as a way to continue that experience, focusing on spreading God’s love through mentorship and brotherhood—a calling he has always felt. As a Gen Z follower of Christ, Julio is well aware of the spiritual questions and challenges faced by his peers. He has been a disciple since being baptized at the age of 14. Raised in the Black Pentecostal tradition, he now prioritizes his relationship with Jesus above everything else.

When he’s not involved in ministry, Julio enjoys weightlifting, playing competitive flag football, writing, working as a social media marketer, and watching movies.

Becca Boss

Becca “Mama Bear” has been attending Orchard Grove since the summer of 2015 and been with the youth group since the fall of 2015, mainly serving with the middle schoolers. She has had the pleasure and joy of watching many of the leaders grow up in student ministry and become the amazing leaders they are today.

Becca grew up in the Baptist church with her family, accepted Jesus into her heart at 6 years old and got baptized at 9, enjoyed doing local mission trips and serving the communities, loved going to youth group and never missed a Wednesday night! Back in 2008 as a senior in her youth group Becca knew she was being called to ministry, beginning to serve in the middle school ministry there for 3 years. In 2011 Becca became a youth leader volunteer down the road at CUMC till 2015, this is where she truly fell in love with the middle school ministry. Becca loves being wild and crazy with them and loves the deep small groups they have, “It is a joy watching them come into their faith journey, grow in the Word and knowledge of God.”

In her spare time Becca loves to be outdoors all seasons, loves going to Tigers games, loves reading books and enjoys spending time with her family all around the country.
