About
Julio has been a part of Orchard Grove for 11 years, starting his journey at 17 in the Youth Group’s Locker Room location. From the very beginning, he felt a deep connection to the community, largely due to its emphasis on authenticity. Today, he volunteers his time as a way to continue that experience, focusing on spreading God’s love through mentorship and brotherhood—a calling he has always felt. As a Gen Z follower of Christ, Julio is well aware of the spiritual questions and challenges faced by his peers. He has been a disciple since being baptized at the age of 14. Raised in the Black Pentecostal tradition, he now prioritizes his relationship with Jesus above everything else. When he’s not involved in ministry, Julio enjoys weightlifting, playing competitive flag football, writing, working as a social media marketer, and watching movies.
